Corporate Police Check Solutions

Many organisations require police checks to meet compliance obligations and uphold internal policies relating to employment screening. Clear to Work offers an efficient, secure, and ACIC-compliant solution to support these needs.

In collaboration with industry partners, Clear to Work launched a Corporate Police Dashboard in 2018. This online platform enables organisations to facilitate, manage, and monitor police check applications through an intuitive, centralised system with real-time visibility across the process.

Checks Available include:

  1. Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
  2. Volunteer – Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
  3. Australian Federal Police Check (AFP)

Assistance with ACIC Customer Approval Process

Under the updated ACIC Terms of Use, organisations seeking to access the National Police Checking Service (NPCS) must be formally approved by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) as a Customer Entity.

Clear to Work supports clients through this process by providing structured guidance, documentation assistance, and liaison support to streamline approval. Our team ensures your organisation meets all eligibility and compliance requirements, helping to reduce delays and establish a compliant operational framework from the outset.

Police Checks Dashboard – Self-Serve Portal

If you don’t have any questions and you would prefer to “just get on with it” and get started as quickly as possible, please download and fill out the three (3) forms below.  

 A representative from our Corporate Team will be in touch within 24 hours with your log in details and guide to start using the Dashboard.  

Form 1 - Clear to Work (CTW) User Agreement

Clear to Work has recently updated its Terms and Conditions to align with changes to ACIC compliance requirements. This agreement satisfies the necessary requirements for a formal arrangement between Clear to Work and your organisation for access to our Corporate Dashboard. 

Please fill out the form in its entirety and click submit.   

Form 2 – ACIC Terms of Use Agreement

This is a formal agreement between your business and ACIC, agreeing to the terms of use of the National Police Checking Service. 

  • Please ensure “Customer Name” (page 1) and “Customer” (page 3) is the EXACT entity name (not business or trading name), as it is shown on the ABR  
  • Full name, date and signature for both signee and witness is mandatory   
  • Please email the completed form as a PDF file to corporate@cleartowork.com.au

Form 3 – ACIC Customer Request form

Please fill out this form to request assessment from ACIC about your businesses suitability for receiving check results from the National Police Checking Service.  

  • Question 1 – you are only permitted to seek NCCHCs for your own existing/potential staff and/or volunteers. For any other categories selected, you will be referred to ACIC for discussion about options available to you. 
  • Question 2 – please confirm your intention for the results 
  • Question 3 – checks can only be for the purpose of working with your business. Sharing or on-disclosing of results to third parties is not permitted 
  • Question 4 – if “yes” is selected you MUST provide links to the exact legislation pertaining to your request.  
  • Question 5 – please be very specific as to where you intend to store results (State/Country). Saving or storage of results outside of Australia is not permitted.  
  • Question 6 –  please leave this question blank, as CTW needs to provide a special code that will be applied to all your police checks 
  • Part 2 – Question 7 – please leave completely blank, if you are not applying for this check type. If needed, please provide as much info as you can about the work of volunteers – Handbooks, URL links etc. 
  • Part 3 – Declaration – you are not required to fill this part out. Please leave blank.
